Marina di Ragusa

Ragusa

The clear sea, shallow waters and beach of fine golden sand count it among the most popular seaside resorts in Sicily. Beyond the marina stretches a long stretch of reefs with azure waters and deep seabed, ideal for snorkelers. After a few meters from Marina di Ragusa, there is the entrance to the Macchia Foresta del Fiume Irminio Nature Reserve, a protected area for those who want to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, including flowers, paths and cliffs, a particular ecosystem, unique in its kind, rich in history and botanical rarities. Since 2006, Marina di Ragusa has been awarded the Blue Flag recognized by the Fee (Foundation For Environmental Education), thanks to its water quality, environmental management and provision of beach services and safety. For the safety of children, further recognition is of the Green Flag.
